Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender oil smells fresh and clear, aromatic-floral to sweet-balsamic.

Due to its complex composition, the fragrance has a relaxing and calming effect in cases of stress, as well as a refreshing and stimulating effect in cases of tiredness and fatigue.

True lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) has been grown in the Oberaargau by suissessences® farmers since 2007.

Real lavender oil differs from lavandin in its finer scent and milder effect.

To produce 1 kg of lavender oil, about 200-400 kg of fresh lavender flower spikes must be harvested and distilled.

True lavender grows at higher altitudes (approx. 1,000 m) and is only cultivated in smaller crops.
