Rapeseed oil, extracted from the seeds of the vibrant yellow-flowering rapeseed plant, is among the most valuable edible oils. With its ideal fatty acid composition (6% saturated fats, 65% oleic acid, 20% linoleic acid, and 9% α-linolenic acid), it supports a healthy diet and protects the heart, circulatory system, and blood vessels.
As the base for its creams and lotions, suissessences uses local rapeseed oil. This oil is gently cold-pressed from a special variety of rapeseed in a small, local oil mill. Its fatty acids strengthen the skin barrier, retain moisture, protect against UV damage, and leave skin smooth without a greasy residue.
